The science, without the hype.
What's in a Norda gummy, why it's there, and what the research does and doesn't say.
Four actives. Zero mystery.
Every number is on the label, so you always know exactly what you're chewing. Amounts are per gummy.
Natural caffeine
From green tea extract. The same caffeine as in your cup, in a dose you control. Two gummies are roughly one cup of coffee.
L-theanine
The amino acid that makes tea feel calmer than coffee. Studied together with caffeine for attention and alertness.*
Vitamin B12
Supports your body's normal energy-yielding metabolism.* You won't feel it kick in. It just does its job.
Vitamin B6
Works alongside B12 in energy metabolism and the normal function of the nervous system.*

Caffeine wakes you up. L-theanine keeps it civil.
Tea has always felt gentler than coffee, and L-theanine is a big part of why. It's an amino acid found almost exclusively in tea leaves.
A meta-analysis of 11 randomized trials found that caffeine and L-theanine together improved alertness and attention in the first two hours after taking them.* The studies are small and short, so we won't call it proven. We call it promising, and we put a full 100 mg in every gummy.
- 2 parts L-theanine to 1 part caffeine
- Doses in the range used in published trials
What Norda won't do.
We'd rather under-promise. Three things worth knowing before you order.
It won't replace sleep
Caffeine blocks the feeling of tiredness. It doesn't remove the need for rest. Short nights still catch up with you.
B vitamins aren't a buzz
B6 and B12 support normal energy metabolism.* If you already get enough, you won't feel them. They're in there for the background work.
Late doses can cost you sleep
Caffeine stays in your system for hours. If you're sensitive, keep your last gummy before 2 or 3 pm.
You're in charge of the milligrams.
Each gummy has exactly 50 mg of caffeine, so the math is easy. One for a light lift. Two for about a cup of coffee.
For healthy adults, up to 400 mg of caffeine a day from all sources is generally considered fine. We suggest a maximum of four gummies a day, fewer if you also drink coffee or tea. Not recommended for children or during pregnancy or nursing.
- 1 gummy = 50 mg caffeine
- 2 gummies = about one cup of coffee
- Max 4 gummies a day
